Access breakwater at the Haparanda Dam

Cars were regularly parked on the breakwater at Haparanda Dam, even though this is not allowed.
Therefore, a heavy bollard has now been installed to close the breakwater to traffic. The pole can disappear into the ground if, for example, emergency services need to be on the breakwater.
