From now on, more longer-term berths

Barges can now apply for a berth at the Sumatra or Suriname quay for a longer period, namely 3 weeks in addition to the standard period of 7 days. So in total for a period of four weeks.
Previously it was only possible to dock longer in the IJhaven, but after consultation with residents it is now also possible to dock longer at the Suriname or Sumatrakade. Read the conditions online.
Extra berth for inland shipping
Near the Afrikahaven on the south side of the car jetty, the coaster waiting berth has been removed. This waiting jetty is now in use for inland navigation and suitable for vessels:
- other than pusher vessels;
- that are not required to carry blue cones or lights;
- up to a length of 135 meters and a width of 25 meters.
